ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONIST PAINTINGS

My paintings are influenced by Abstract Expressionism. I use bright, vivid colors with turquoise being a main element as it evokes emotion. I mainly paint women and horses as they both have graceful strength. I paint on wood and canvas with thick texture. The personas come to life as I paint and become very familiar to me. There is a spiritual component in all my paintings to provoke imagination and wonder.
